Day 14. June 14, 2021.

So we had a blast hanging out with Beau's family on Saturday. I got to meet siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Shout out to Beau's favorite uncle Royce, who is as ornery as they come. He got ahold of our phones at some point and left us photos/videos. Ha. Here he is, the stinker...

We had a fantastic meal and great company, and I heard lots of stories about Beau's early days. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. Thanks to Beau's sweet mama (the kids call her Crackers) for making it special for us.

They are a wonderful group of people, and after spending time with his mama, I know I landed a good one 😁. Didn't take many photos because I was too busy talking.

Sunday morning we caught up with one of Beau's good childhood friends for coffee and then met his parents at a great Mexican place called Mauricio's.

The Cucumber Jalepeño Margarita was different, but definitely tasty, as Beau had two of them. Lol. I had a mango margarita and Huevos Rancheros. Yum!!!

Some other photos from the weekend...

We had a super relaxing weekend, and are now headed Northwest to San Francisco. The original trek was up Highway 1, but we decided to catch up with it on the other side of San Fran on our way up to Oregon. My baby is driving this rig like a pro, but we are still kinda nervous about smaller roads/spaces.

Plans in San Francisco include, but are not limited to a visit to Alcatraz, a trolley ride, a walk down Lombard Street, the most crooked street in the world, and a glimpse of the Golden Gate bridge.
