Day 17. June 17th. Wednesday.

Wow! What a fantastic experience. Two thumbs up for Napa Valley, and for Spring Mountain Vineyard, which we visited in St. Helena today. Catherine was our wine expert, and the hostess with the mostest. We tried five different wines, one Sauvignon Blanc and four Cabernet Sauvignon. Yummmmm. The reds were pricey for my blood, but I did buy three Sauv Blanc. Saving one to drink with my friend Shane when we get to Ohio 🙂.

Our next stop was at Mad Fritz, a craft brewery, one of the very few in Napa. The beer is to die for, and I'm not a beer drinker. Beau loved it. He's not really a wine guy, so I thought it was only fair to do a beer tasting as well.

We ended up buying 6 very expensive 24oz. bottles of beer. Egads. Let's just say, one bottle costs the same as a 30-pack of Budweiser. It was not our intention to spend so much, it was just one of those awkward situations where you wish you'd discussed price beforehand. Lol.

We had such a great day. I would love to spend a week or so in Napa Valley. Bucket list for sure.
