Day 12 - June 12th
Wowza! The weather in Bakersfield, California is incredible this week. Everyone warned me it would be hot as an oven, but it's been in the low 80's all week. I'm actually sitting outside with a hoodie on at the moment. This is our view from the RV...most civilized.

Friday was fairly uneventful. We went and did laundry at a very shady establishment in a not-so-great neighborhood. The laundromat is the one major drawback to RV Life. I despise it. We have a washer/dryer hookup in the trailer, but unfortunately that is the only place Beau has to keep his clothes, as his wife has commandeered almost every nook and cranny in the place for her own belongings. That bitch!!
We came back afterwards and tried to hit the pool, but the force is still strong with the Covid, so we were turned away. You have to make an appointment to go to the pool. Kinda takes all the fun out of going, if you ask me.
Nevermind. We are headed to Beau's mom's today to hang out by the pool and BBQ. We stopped by yesterday for a quick visit so we could make sure all the doggies will get along today. She has a beautifully landscaped yard, full of fruit trees and flowers and statues. The dogs were in heaven...Eddie in particular, loved the pool.
